I wanted to create a brand that has a more empowering and inclusive message. It’s all about pieces that take you from bed to street and everything in between – this is the kind of luxury this generation now craves.

I want Les Girls Les Boys to be a celebration - the idea behind it is that all body types and genders are accepted. It’s about friendship and love and making sexy a word of empowerment again. This is this the new sexy.

Who is your muse?

My children! I love the way they dress, the way they share their clothes and the way they interact with their friends. The brand philosophy identifies and celebrates love, friendship, diverse identities, and mixed cultural mind-sets. I really looked to what the millennials care about and how they see themselves.

What would you deem a must-try from the collection?

Everything! But if I had to choose one thing, it would be The Daisy Lace Collection. It’s classic black lace teetering between sweet daisy and rock girl - pretty but strong and oh-so flattering.

What’s next?

We’re really excited about the addition of swim to our Spring Summer 2018 collection, it adds another layer to the brand as the pieces have been designed to be worn on the beach, pool side or as a bright pop of colour in the evening. We now want people to go from the 'beach to street'!
